Starting with a 1962 frame, we cut it off just above the front and rear motor mounts, threw away 27 lbs of cast metal and replaced it with 9 lbs of chromoly including the seat mount. Frame is powder coated in Silver Vein color. The motor is a 1962 lower end with modification to the main bearing enforcement on the transmission cover. It has a finned aluminum primary cover. We then put 63″ Drag Specialty aluminum cylinders and a 4-5/8″ stroker kit yielding 1327cc (81ci), all topped with one the original casting Sputhe XR style heads, Mikuni 35mm butterfly carbs. Magneto installed in the generator hole just like the XR. Custom side exhaust with period correct Super Trapp tunable mufflers. A set of SIFTON C-grind, XR pattern reverse rear cams. Up front is a Kimtab 19″x 2″ magnesium wheel weighing just 8.2 lbs, with dual disc brakes with 4 piston Hawg Halter calipers ( the only non period correct parts on the bike), wheels are powder coated in Sparkle Silver, all suspended by a set of Ceriani 35mm Grand Prix forks with a steering stabilizer. Tomaselli solid aluminum clip-ons. Up top is custom made Unique Industries road race fuel tank with aircraft style fuel cap. Cafe style seat with XR1350 embroidered gray seat cover. It has a shortened later model square tube swingarm. Another Kimtab magnesium 18″ x 3″ wheel weighing 8.5 lbs, with another 11.50″ disc sporting the same 4 piston Hawg Halter caliper on the rear. Rear set brake/shifter. Comes with a Trail Tech digital computer. Bike weighs approximately 335 lbs., built in 1978 and has never been started. Comes with an uninstalled, unpainted, XRTT full fairing taken from the same mold as Cal Rayburns race winning XRTT 750.
