Accessibility Statement
Last updated: November 3rd 2026
Bike Shed Moto Co. is committed to making Bike Shed’s Custom Classifieds (the “Site”, “we”, “us”, “our”) accessible to as many people as possible, whatever their abilities or the technology they use. We want everyone who loves custom motorcycles to be able to browse, list and sell with us.
1. Our Standard
The Site is designed and built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for accessible websites. We recognise our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and work to meet them.
2. What We Have Done
Accessibility is built into how the Site is designed, developed and maintained. In particular:
- Colour and contrast. Text and interface elements are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast requirements against their backgrounds, including our brand colours.
- Keyboard access. The whole Site can be used with a keyboard alone. A “skip to main content” link is the first item on every page, and the element you are on is always clearly highlighted.
- Screen readers and assistive technology. Pages use semantic HTML and WAI-ARIA so that forms, buttons, menus and custom controls are properly named and announced.
- Forms. Every form field has a visible, associated label, and required fields and errors are identified in text, not by colour alone.
- Images. Photographs and graphics carry text alternatives, including every listing photo.
- Responsive design. The Site adapts to any screen size and remains usable when text is enlarged or the page is zoomed.
- Ongoing review. We test the Site with automated accessibility tools as part of our development process and review it regularly as the Site changes.
3. Third-Party Content
Some parts of the Site are provided by third parties — for example payment processing, security verification and embedded video. We select providers who share our commitment to accessibility, and we review these components alongside our own.
4. Technical Information
The Site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA, and is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech recognition software.
5. Tell Us What You Think
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you have difficulty using any part of it, or would like information in a different format, please contact us and tell us the page and the problem. We aim to respond within five working days.
This statement is reviewed regularly and updated as the Site changes.
