TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE CUSTOM MOTORCYCLE – DOWN AND OUT CUSTOM MOTORCYCLE – mint condition.
I have always wanted a Triumph Bonneville that had that Desert Sled/Scrambler feel. I wanted a Triumph with a vintage feel to it but wanted it to be easy to maintain and be mechanically perfect. I particularly wanted a chrome engined Triumph so I managed to find one of the last built chrome engined Triumphs (that they stopped making in 2016). I bought a mint condition Triumph Thruxton with 1600 miles on the clock that had been garaged. Despite being almost identical to the Bonneville the Thruxton has a tiny bit more horse power and a higher compression rate to the Bonneville. I then took the bike to Down and Out where they did an amazing job turning it into the bike that you see now. So much work has been done to it but here are the main changes/additions – New Baak handlebars with motone custom switching, led indicators (which look beautiful and are so bright, motogadget speedometer, new custom seat, new custom made exhaust, the paint was done by Arnie at Kustom. New mudguards and rear light, scrambler tyres and much more. I have all of the paperwork for the original bike and all the history.
