Overview

1989 Norton Commander P52 Police bike. Frame No:423* Engine No:423* Matching numbers.

Will be sold with a fresh MOT. A brand new rear tyre has recently been fitted. On the clock: 67,000 miles.
1st registered in 1993, built in 1989. Police spec P52 model, built for police export then not shipped. Mostly unrestored and original. Engine completely overhauled in 2011 by specialist R. Negus with photos and invoice. 1 of only 253 produced. Rare to find in this condition. In good running order. Comprehensive history file with old MOT’s, receipts, original handbook and parts book and associated paperwork + 2 keys. Ulez done (as it is my commuter bike in London).

For the story between 89 and 93 it was sent to Ghana to showcase the Norton Police bikes to sell to the local government, this is why it has two fans on the radiator instead of one.

This Norton Commander liquid-cooled Wankel Rotary engine produces 85 BHP at 9,000.

One of the rear light has a little damage as seen on the pictures, you can get the parts at specialist https://andover-norton.co.uk/en or on Ebay.

NEW MOT DONE ON TUESDAY 9TH JULY WITH A PASS – ALL GOOD. THE BIKE IS ALSO TAXED – SO FRESH MOT AND TAXED PAID.
