1980 Yamaha SR500 big bore 540

Build by Airow Custom Motorcycles in Cracow, Poland. Motorcycle is brand new, rode around 100km for tests purposes. It has been exhibited only once this season on Hel Riders festival and won Best Custom title.

This motorcycle was built from scratch and it is really hard to list all modifications here, so below there`s a brief specification:
– 540ccm big bore
– forged piston with performance rod from CP Carrillo
– GT cam from Świątek
– lightered and balanced crankshaft
– performance springs and retainers
– Yamaha WR wheels with Metzeler Roadtec tires (stainless spokes made on order)
– KTM Duke 690 upside down front forks, YSS rear shocks
– Magura HC1 front brake and Magura hydraulic clutch
– Mikuni TM36-31 carburetor
– EBC front brake disc from Yamaha XT660X, XJ600 rear, Nissin rear master cylinder from Suzuki GSR 600
– KEDO aluminum swingarm
– Motogadget Chronoclassic speedo
– Antigravity battery under the tank (ignition switch mounted “inside the tank”)
– Yamaha RD250 tank, flat tracker-style ducktail made of polyester resin by Airow
– one off muffler inspired by Triumph Thruxton
– front fender by Airow
Currently tank and duck tail are painted in color inspired by Porsche Singer (shade as in the photos), it has no pinstripe paint, so it can be individually finished. We can do a custom paint in pinstripe technique or make a sticker make –it’s included in price or leave it without marking!
Motorcycle is precisely made and ready to ride. It is road legal, registered in Poland, has insurance and all documents. It meets the strict requirements of the TÜV certification.
